Obama speaking of Romney's criticism of British preparations for the Olympics said. "You might not be ready for diplomacy with Beijing if you can't visit the Olympics without insulting our closest ally."
So he too read the British papers.
Romney's mistake, which I hope he remembers when he is elected, was to believe that the BBC and other media moaners represent the British public's view.
