Conservative Homer

I recall Bush saying vaguely the same things 10 years ago, things like "i wont get involved in nation building" and "i'll be a fiscal conservative". So much for that.

Ron Paul on the other hand is not a career politician though, thats why he'll never be President. Its a popular message, but he is an unknown quantity to the establishment.

Personally id love it if he became President and Nigel Farage become prime minister here (on a UKIP or tory platform) neither will ever happen though. Both countries will continue to drift down the road of socialist/autocratic waste whilst the balance of power transfers east.
