oh... So their party name isn't a nicety, it's a command ... or else!

The only thing I could hear was 'he's a parasite on Bradford'. That is true, he chose to stand in Bradford because of the large Muslim population which no doubt helped him to victory. Galloway is a nasty man with a big ego, I can only think the 'georgeous' tag is a sick joke, he is anything but. Well done to the egg thrower, it took some guts to stand up to the supporters of the 'Respect' party.

Isn't it a sign of Respects insecurity that they have to gang up on a lone man. Brave aren't they.

Well, after reading the above comments all I can say is "so much for the Conservative Party's supporters commitment to law and order!"
If this was someone throwing eggs at a Conservative politician, we'd be reading outraged diatribes calling for the reintroduction of National Service.
Regardless of my opinion of Mr Galloway's politics - which is pretty low - he won well over 50% of the vote in the election. There is a name for this - democracy. As Churchill said on hearing the result of the 1945 election, "Start packing. It's called democracy, it's what we fought for."

Thanks for putting us all straight on that. Some might say though that they're not surprised to have their beliefs in Labour thuggery quite so clearly laid out for all to see here on Con Home.

He probably won't get another chance. The likelyhood of seeing much of GG in Bradford again is remote.

The man shouldn’t have thrown the eggs but overall this altercation turned into a fairly healthy airing of views on both sides.
