This was quite, quite superb! The best thing about it was that at the end everyone (myself included) looked round to see if he was going to come down from the back of the hall on to the stage on a zip wire.

It would have been better if they hadn't used a stand-in even for the bits where he wasn't riding a bike.

Bloody terrible and some of these claims are exagerrated. For example beating Ken Livingstone was stragitforward after 11 years of Labour government, it was also not so difficult in 2012 as he had an incumbency advantage.
And the achievements were not all his own either.
