IIRC Labour did not vote against the reforms. They voted against a snide and disingenuous Minister trying to railroad a piece of half-baked legislation through the House of Commons without sufficient (any) rigourous due diligence in an unwanted attempt to circumvent the democratic responsibility of MP's.

So if that worries the ghost of Robin Cook then let him spin away forever......

A bit of a tasteless comment from Ming, I imagine poor Robin has been spinning ever since his oh so timely departure. Am I the only one who smelt a rat at the time, a big fat rat with a name that rhymes with air.
