Wasn't it Chris Davies MEP who claimed the exhorbitant expenses and then gave the extra money to the Liberal Democrat Party?

No, he's the one who claims that he may have lost out on more than £2 million over 10 years by refusing to bend parliamentary rules for claiming expenses. He's also been campaigning for greater transparency. Unlike many Conservatives.
