Oh find another dead horse to flog. This excellent response was posted on another blog by richard thomson who is not of my party allegiance but who has got it spot on.

"All those drugs available in Scotland but not England? Well, that's what happens when you have 2 seperate bodies (NICE in England; the SMC in Scotland) charged with licencing treatments and responding to 2 different sets of ministers responding to 2 different sets of priorities.

Incidentally, many of the drugs mentioned are not prescribed routinely, or are only made available as a last resort. In any case, it works both ways - in England, you can be prescribed Sutent for kidney cancer; Elaprase for Hunter Syndrome; sundry other enzyme therapies; enjoy a strategy for dealing with COPD and can get liposuction for overweight kids. That's except for viewers in Scotland, though, but do you hear us complaining? No."

An excellent, factually accurate video.

Why isn't the party getting behind a solution for these injustices?

Such as? What "therapies"? Explain! What "strategy"? You are misleading people.
Oh yes you nearly got away with the crafty semantics. Making it appear that scotland's people are denied drugs to...when they are not! Show me the link to the evidence! There isn't one.

"Do you hear us (the scots) complaining? No!"
Aha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! I have never heard a scot not complain about something.

And don't try to justify the deliberate scotch new labour policy of denying life saving cancer drugs ONLY to English people! It cannot be justified! You have tried to hide the fact that this is a scottish policy, but it cannot be hidden. Scots are deliberately refusing English cancer sufferers the drugs that give them a chance to survive. You are nothing better than murderers. And you. You trying to justify it. You're in the same group as the rest of the scum. Youre in league with Blair, Brown, reid, Darling and the rest.

"NICE in England; the SMC in Scotland"
Er well that's wrong actually, it should be NICE in Britain (or the 'regions'), you see England constitutionally and politically does not exist, the UK governments own words.
