Australian Labor: John Howard is asleep on climate change

Australian voters need to be made aware of our experience with socialist political wonks that have never had a proper job in their lives and want to control everything including the climate. I am convinced King Canute was a member on New Labour.

Certainly Australia has a big problem with greenhouse emissions, many have been blaming India, China and USA but in fact Australia has the highest output of greenhouse gases per head of population of any country in the world.

Australia's Labor Party though have nothing to be complacent about, they were in power for a number of years - Labor and Liberal governments both nationally and state governments do not really seem to have shown much concern with doing anything to move towards lower greenhouse gas use or develop sustainable energy sources.
