The money will still come from the pensioners but after they are dead.
This will be a death tax introduced by the Conservative Party rather than the Labour Party.
Family houses are homes and surely these should be handed down to members of the family rather than handed over to the government.
The Conservative Party has lost it's way and is more left wing than Labour or the Liberal Democrats.
The Government confiscates your house and home if you go sick and need care.

A reasonable observation Robert, but how can this be funded without impacting the children?

In the days when women stayed at home they would care for their ageing relatives. The taxpayer is already being asked for far to much tax. This really is a family issue, and its familes tht will have to work out how fund this.
