better wait for boris island the others are full

Let me inform you of the way Mr Johnson and the whole of government in general how.
1.You get Qatada
2.You put him on a plane to Jordon
3.You walk away

I hope they are aware of "planes".

Ethan Edwards

@CommonSense4Now - yes, I think that's what Boris meant when he said "the solution lies at Heathrow"

Peter Thurgood

What on earth has happened to MI5 or is it now MI6? In the old days they would have sent someone to have a little chat with Mr Qatada in the middle of the night - and hey-presto no one would have seen him again!

Strange I seem to remember that when Blair was in there was a lot of opposition to rendition from the Tories, bet they aren't so opposed now.

This Abu Qatada, is he one of those secular fundamentalists that Warsi is going on about?

Malcolm Wood

Who is the Government of this country?
The EU or the Coalition?
If it is the Coalition and they want to get rid of Qatada, all they have to do is put the miserable excuse for a human being onto the first aircraft to Jordon, then say to the EU, "What are you going to do about that then"?

I don;t think anyone (except possible Mr Qatada) would disagree with the statement in the headline. Motherhood and Apple Pie, much? Though it would have been nice if you'd said "the sooenr we find a LEGAL way.." I know many here are keen to see the UK turning into a law-breaking squalid little police state, clearly, but I rather the Government kept abiding by the law.
