If it was a Conservative Government in this mess do you think Labour would have been so absolutely...lets all stick together old boy,and save our jolly old country?

E Justice, the difference is that when a Labour mess becomes the country's mess, it should be in our interest to do what is right rather than what is politically expedient. There will be plenty of time for assigning blame if/when the situation has been sorted.

THANK GOD he mentioned that it was the US Government and not Wall Street that caused the Great Depression.
This is something very little understood.
