Martin Marprelate- A Man in the Street!

Well, two Tories, Jeffrey Archer and Jonathan Aitken both went to prison for Perjury so I don't see why Hard Left Tommy Sheridan should be exempt.

At last justice is done. I will never understand why the judge in the original trial preferred to take Sheridan's word over the multiple witnesses who spoke against him. And typical as ever this politican blames the media.

Labour: don't do as I do, do as I tell you.

Typical Labour scum..

I hate to be pedantic, but Sheridan was NOT Labour. Indeed that would be just about the biggest insult you could pay to him! He called himself a Scottish Socialist and was very very far indeed to the Left of the Blair Labour Party.

labour left scotland with 62% government.a hopless left wing country.far to the left of any other country in europe.the labour party,snp,socialist etc are all very left wing.

to put that in to a world context and how without oil and england, scotland would be insolvent;
other big countries reliance on government,
china 35% government

usa 38%

cuba 60%

euro block 50%

its very sad,as in the past scotland has contributed so much to the world.i have not given up hope,but with so many people totally reliant on the state,it will be difficult.

What's the difference between Sheridan and Cable? Only that Cable's different versions did not include one in the witness box. The political class are all the same: publicly they say what they think they ought to say and appear to do what they think they ought to do, but privately, they are selfish as demonstrated by the Telegraph's expenses reports.

Only by the people taking power from the politicians will this country ever get anywhere. And I say the people taking power because the political class, in the words of John le Carre, "think they are the school prefects of the world"

There hasn't been a proper "decentraliser" since Rhodes-Boyson.
