Indeed, but let's get this into perspective.
At about 10.29 BBC News claimed that the fire service was working harder than in living memory. I beg to differ.
There are still people alive, not much older than me, who were alive in 1941/2 when fire fighters literally gave their lives to save London and other Cities.
Surely the BBC would not want to be inaccurate?
