Boris gave a splendid intellectual reply to Sir Ian Blairs resignation. Jackie Smith on Question time sought to make the resignation a political one!! Sir Ian has been in all sorts of trouble for ages and should have gone ages ago. I have several friends as policeman and they will be happy to see him go. Blair was target driven also. Boris is exactly what is needed in this country to actually do something and not just talking!!
I am amazed that the TV companies do not recognise this, Channel 4 yesterday evening
were also implying that it was a political move. I had to turn the TV off ( I thought there were intelligent staff in the media!, surely they cannot have been oblivious of the trouble that Sir Ian Blair has been in?)
