I just don't get the Lib-Dems at the moment - they claim they don't like the Tories, they claim that if it wasn't for them the coalition would be worse, they've even started suggestion that in fact the economic policy is nothing to do with them!!!
We analyse the lines currently being peddled by the Liberal Democrats and consider the problems they have:

First we have the Polish Finance Minister saying there would be war without the Euro now Cable painting a violent image of our current economic situation. May I remind everyone that apart from his late complaints about the instability of Brown's banking and money supply decisions, he and his party always argued for MORE spending.
At a school talk this week I was faced with a representative of the European Movement who went on about the EU keeping peace. I have noticed phases when pro-EU speakers come out with a similar phrase. Have they been consorting together to try to make our flesh creep.
You know the sort of thing - do as I say or you'll regret it. Apres EU le deluge - that sort of rubbish.
