I don't find the prospect of another five years of Labour exciting at all.

If we do get electoral change maybe it won't be such a bad thing at all. I've never liked the idea of politicians having safe seats. It breeds arrogance. Also UKIP would get seats.

It's the look on his face when he speaks. That false sincerity. ''Look at me, I move my head while speaking, whilst gurning at the same time to look passionate and involved.'' When will they get scrutinised.
This poll bounce won't last if Cameron ups his game on Thursday.
DAVE, IF YOU ARE READING THIS... GET YOUR BLOODY ACT TOGETHER NOW. STOP TRYING TO SOUND STATESMAN LIKE. YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE ONE, SO PEOPLE WON'T BELIEVE YOU ARE ONE IF YOU TRY AND SOUND LIKE ONE. GET AGGRESSIVE AND PASSIONATE. EXPOSE THE HYPOCRISY OF THE LIBERALS, INCLUDING CLEGG'S 84p CLAIM FOR A PHONE CALL, OR TROUSER PRESS HUHNE, OR ROCKING CHAIR GOLDSWORTHY, OR EXPENSIVE FURNITIRE MENZIES, OR A BISCUIT KENNEDY. BROWN IS A BUSTED FLUSH, YOU CAN IGNORE BROWN, BUT ATTACK LABOUR. SHOW US YOU HAVE PASSION INSTEAD OF PROJECTING AN AURA OF FALSE CALMNESS. GET ANGRY AND STOP BEING A BLOODY PUSSYCAT. STOP PURRING AND START BARKING DAVE, OR THIS COUNTRY IS LOST TO THE STRANGLEHOLD OF THE EU WHEN LABOUR AND THE LIBERALS TAKE US INTO THE EURO AND INTRODUCE PR, GIVING THEM POWER IN PERPETUITY.
GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER... I shouldn't be this furious with you mr Cameron, I should be wanting to lick your boots for bringing the Tories back where they belong. But you have let us down Mr Cameron with that abysmal performance. You are not a statesman yet, you are a politician. Let the burdens of office turn you into a statesmen and leave the posturing to Naughty Nick

I dont think a hung parliament is exciting, it means that the national debt will spiral out of control as the lib dems support Labour or make a new election more likely. Thats not good for a country, it means that uncertainty will spook the markets and bring Britain closer to National failure.
I dont think the lib dems following policies will enhance anybody:
Liberal Democrats support immediate entry to the Euro currency.
Liberal Democrats want to let 58,000 criminals out of jail to serve their sentences in the comfort of their own home.
Liberal Democrats want an amnesty for all Illegal Immigrants and Unrestricted Immigration.
Liberal Democrats want Unilateral Nuclear Disarmament.
Liberal Democrats want Wind Turbines to be the sole means of keeping electricity and the lights on. No Nuclear, Gas or Coal fired technology.
Liberal Democrats want to make Drug taking legal.
Liberal Democrats broke their manifesto Pledge on a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.
Liberal Democrats do one thing and say another – they are the most dishonest party in British Politics.

Jumping jellybeans. Aren't the political anoraks getting excited? and all over that lovely Mr Clean doing so well on tele.
We must stop over-reacting to one television performance. Two more to go. Clegg has peaked too early. The Tories will doubtless concentrate on the dafter policies of the Dozycrats as well as exposing the 'honest Jo' stuff as poppycock.
Remember Michael Brown, convicted fraudster who gave £2.5M to the LDs and they refused to pay it back. Top notch sleaze.
It is possible that the LDs will lose out once their policies are scrutinised. It is one thing to use a protest vote when the party receiving it has no chance of power, quite another when it has a chance of some power.

Whoever advised DC to rise above the digs and slurs and act in a 'statesman-like' fashion last Thursday night has cost the Tory party an overall majority, and I assume is now out on his or her ear.
That being said, Clegg and Cable trying to work in Broon's mad cabinet is going to be immense entertainment, (for a political anorak).
If DC has anything about him, the pathetic, vile, desperation of NeoLabour to cling onto power must galvanise him to work harder than he has ever done before.

Well said John.

Your right, Nick, something exciting is happening. your party is finally being shown up for the bunch of eccentrics and extremists it really is. When you get your place in this fabled coalition government which of your policies are you going to insist on first? JOining the Euro? Scrapping our nuclear deterrent?Pulling out of Afhganistan? Scrapping the special relationship? Converting our all energy production to wind power that works less than 10% of the time? Providing an amnesty for hundred of thousands of illegal immigrants? Opening our jails and letting tens of thousands of criminals back onto our streets? I cant wait to hear what its' going to be Nick

Let's go through these claims one-by-one.
>Liberal Democrats support immediate entry to the Euro currency.
Not true. See the Paxman debate - they admit the ability of the Bank of England to control the interest rates of sterling has been useful, but only support entry to the Euro via a referendum.
>Liberal Democrats want to let 58,000 criminals out of jail to serve their sentences in the comfort of their own home.
That's one way of putting it. Another way of putting it is using punishments over prison for low-end offenders where appropriate.
>Liberal Democrats want an amnesty for all Illegal Immigrants and Unrestricted Immigration.
Both are misleading. They want an amnesty for illegal immigrants that have been in the country for a decade, allowing them to pay tax. "Unrestricted immigration" only if you see that as the opposite of an "immigration cap", which obviously isn't sensible and may create a problem for businesses.
>Liberal Democrats want Unilateral Nuclear Disarmament.
Broadly true.
>Liberal Democrats want Wind Turbines to be the sole means of keeping electricity and the lights on. No Nuclear, Gas or Coal fired technology.
Not true. They're against nuclear power, on financial rather than environment reasons, and have an environmental policy, but that's pretty much it. No-one thinks wind turbines can power the entire country.
>Liberal Democrats want to make Drug taking legal.
Not true. They want to make the Drug Advisory Board independent from politics, allow it to be a fact-based drug system. This would prevent what happened with David Nutt last year, where politics overrules experts.
>Liberal Democrats broke their manifesto Pledge on a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.
I'll give you that.
>Liberal Democrats do one thing and say another – they are the most dishonest party in British Politics.
I think that's more opinion-based.

Let's look at the allegations made against Liberal Democrats
Liberal Democrats support immediate entry to the Euro currency. _Untrue - the right time might come - unlike the Tories we haven't ruled it out completely.
Liberal Democrats want to let 58,000 criminals out of jail to serve their sentences in the comfort of their own home- Untrue - but it has been proved that Prison sentences don't reduce crime - there must be altedrnatives to prevent reoffending.
Liberal Democrats want an amnesty for all Illegal Immigrants and Unrestricted Immigration- Untrue - After 10 years in the UK immigrants who have respected our laws should have the opportunity to "earn citizenship" Unrestricted immigration - does that refer to EU members or those outside the EU ?
Liberal Democrats want Unilateral Nuclear Disarmament- Untrue - but following Obama's lead we seek in agreement with others to reduce our nuclear arsenals and not to replace Trident with a similar with similar weapons - the Cold war is over.
Liberal Democrats want Wind Turbines to be the sole means of keeping electricity and the lights on. No Nuclear, Gas or Coal fired technology- Untrue and utter nonsense. Liberal Democrats want to make Drug taking legal- Untrue.
Liberal Democrats broke their manifesto Pledge on a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty- Untrue , the Lisbon Treaty was not the new Euro Constitution. .
A party whose supporters can only hope to succeed by lying about opposition policies is a danger to honesty and democracy.

It has not been proved that prison sentences do not reduce crime, says John. Quite the reverse is true. Rapists in jail cannot rape young women, burglars whilst locked away cannot commit burglaries. "Liberals" since about 1925 have been pursuing this nonsensical claim in furtherance of their belief that the purpose of a gaol sentence is rehabilitation. The main purposes are punishment and removal of the criminal from society, so inhibiting repeat crimes. Rehabilitation is a pious ambition which does work occasionally. The inconvenience of a prison sentence also works, even more often.
Amnesty for those illegal immigrants who have evaded deportation for 10 years and "respected our laws" so that they can pay taxes? They have not respected our laws since they have committed a crime continuously for a decade and evaded the payment of taxes. This is only giving way to a fait accompli in that government inertia and incompetence has permitted them to remain at large. Repeat that for the liberal ideal of drug legalisation. Since the government and police have been useless at dealing with drug smugglers and peddlers it will be the path of least resistance to give up. So, why not give up on any effort at border control if we can't stop illegals or drugs from pouring into the country.
It will be handy to have a Drug Advisory Council with executive powers so that the government can remain at arms length from the problem. Staff it with those scientists who are already committed to an open drugs policy and Bob's your uncle.
Let us get back to the EU and the Euro, John. Clegg and Huhne are one-time MEP's, living high on that gravy train. They have expressed a wish for the UK to have closer political and financial links with the EU. They have earnestly called for us to enter the Eurozone. What stops them is the fact that so far they have not been able to secure a share of power. Your chance arrives with the inflation of Clegg and the false prophet, Cable. Somehow they have infiltrated the political scene and are forgiven every failure, gaffe, U-turn and contradiction. They may be close to a coalition with Labour. That will have a price which Brown must pay, quite willingly I suspect. He is no more a patriot than is Clegg and an eternity of lefty power will be his Nirvana so any demand must be met.
If they gain power will they call once more for the In-Out referendum on the EU? Not on your Nelly; not on your Cleggy.

So we have Clegg, a dutchman married to a spaniard, telling us that the EU is a good place to be. He's Obviously been spending too much time smoking in the cafes in Amsterdam.
We have had far too much eu involvement with our country. Too many foreigners having influence. Too many liberal ideas passed of as accepted wisdom.
Facts are simple; terrorists and their sympathisers have no rights - kick them out!
Drugs cause untold misery to users and their families - send them too cold turkey.
Illegal immigrants are not some misguided individual that deserve sympathy - they are criminals, no amnesty kick them and their supporters out of the country. In fact actively seek them out and get rid .
Human rights act is good for the country - it's good for scum, terrorists, thieves, rapists, murderers, the professionally aggrieved and of course liberal lawyers screwing the country in legal aid.
So, those of you who have decided that Clegg is your choice - good luck if he and his like get to have any influence. England will cease to be - it will become a tax generating cash cow for all and sundry. It will become the worlds health service, the worlds debt repayment agency, the place where any one can have a say apart from the English. It will become nothing more than a region within the state of Europe instead of the free, independent and prosperous self determined country of my ancestors and of the English.
We will definitely being going to hell in a handcart. Sit up, wake up and smell the coffee. England needs every man to do his duty! Vote for freedom, vote for independence, vote for our history and vote for our Country. VOTE!, VOTE!, VOTE! For Harry, For liberty, For England!

This is only providing way that administration inertia and mess has authorized them to stay at big. Recurring that for the generous best of pharmaceutical legalization. Since the administration and law enforcement have been ineffective at coping with pharmaceutical smugglers and peddlers it will be the direction of least level of capacity throw in the towel.
