Singularly unimpressive! Clothes stolen for Labour and Tories on many issues, Cable very boring in his short warn up speech. The usual PR crap. Glegg caught on the hop as to who he would back in a Hung Parliament, couldn't say if he would back the Party with most SEATS or most VOTES, and as happened in 1951 and Feb 1974 that is not always the same.
Losers!

Smug self-satisfied ex-public school chancer (there seem to be a lot of those) who has never done a real job in his life. Maybe he can explain why the "mansion tax" threshold was suddenly upped from £1 million to £2 million? Surely it had nothing to do with exempting Clegg's own Putney pile as well as Cable's? Typical "social liberals": all in favour of "fairness" so long as it only involves putting up other people's taxes.

The policy of not paying tax unless one earns £10k pa seems kind but does have the corollary of making
an additional 3.5m people indifferent to Government rises in income tax. Is this actually a good thing? It seems to solidify the " them and us " in politics. "We" can keep voting for more tax / "They" are irresponsible with other people's money. It is difficult to see this as a major contribution towards community cohesion.

After 13 years of LABOUR MISMANAGEMENT, preceded by 18 years of CONSERVATIVE PRIVITISATION AND DIVISION, isn’t it time for wholesale changes in the British political system? Wouldn’t we all like to see WHOLESALE ELECTORAL REFORM and truly PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION, creating a British Parliament where OUR VOTE ACTUALLY COUNTS FOR SOMETHING?
During the past 30 years, both Labour and Conservative governments have been directly responsible for destroying the industrial base of our country, selling off the nation’s most valuable assets and helping to a create a truly divided society.
Despite what the Labour and Conservative parties would have you believe, I believe that there is A THIRD OPTION for those people that are sick and tired of the same old two party politics that has been inflicted on this country for the past 90 years. That option is the Liberal Democrats and despite the widespread belief that a vote for the Lib Dems is a wasted vote, in reality, a vote for them is a VOTE FOR CHANGE and a move away from the failures of the past.
Over 20,000 people have already joined this Facebook group to campaign and vote for a third option for the British electorate http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=113749985304255 This is true democracy in action.
