I quite admire Yvette Cooper's oft-seen fighting spirit but its clear she is completely out of her depth. Paxman always has the measure of career-politicans like Cooper.

I think it's fair to say "she didn't know".

I cannot understand why politicians go on news programmes and don't say anything. What's the point of accepting an invitation to appear if they have nothing to say?
