I watched last night's programme, and I did think Neil was hard with Burnham, but then so what? After what Burnham and his chums did to our country, I think we are more than entitled to be hard on them.
Personally I would like to see them all prosecuted and barred from office forever!

What's with his make-up ?
He looks like an effeminate version of that guy from A Clockwork Orange.

Burnham, yet another Oxbridge career politican.
Yet another mediocrity.
Yet another puppet.

I am afraid Burnham is a lightweight and not up to leading the Labour Party. Its clear that one of the Miliband brothers are going to do that.

But the Milibands are total lightweights too....and deeply weird with it, having spent their entire lives in the Oxford PPE/Hampstead Marxist navel-gazing bubble. Balls is just unhinged....Arthur Scargill with a PPE (or is it a history?) degree.

To call either of the Milibands Marxists is foolish.I am afraid you right-wingers have got to get away from this nonsense that everyone who disagrees with you is a communist. It as traveled over from the states unfortunately and it brings politics down to a very crude, destructive level.

Burnham another lightweight - sorry I'm not impressed.
None of them have ever Laboured. Change the name of the party!

If you read what I said, then you would realise that it is you who is being foolish. Their father was undoubtedly a Marxist and a pretty extreme one at that, even making excuses for the Khmer Rouge. The very fact that he was not expelled from polite society for that alone shows the double standards which apply to the hard left as compared to the extreme right. Both Milibands seems to have inherited his Orwellian mindset of we-know-better-than-you-so-do-as-say-not-as-we-do. I would also like to know how the Milibands manage to live in one of the most expensive parts of London despite spending their entire working lives either as party apparatchiks or as MPs. Another example of what the French call "gauche caviar"?

Has Burnham had plastic surgery??

Burnham is clearly conflicted in his ideas. Near the end of the interview he describes the idea of helping unemployed people to relocate to where the jobs are, a "terrible idea." Fair enough, if that is what he trully believes. But then he, almost unaware of what he has just said, he started to describe how he left the North for London to follow a career in media. Aware, possibly, that he has just offered evidence against his own argument, he adds an apology that he had to do so because "that's where the media jobs are concentrated."
Just as it was beginning to get interesting, the video finished. Isn't this the real problem with socialists, that they can't except that jobs exist wbere they exist, and the simplest solution is to relocate to where that might be? Instead they try Canute like to change the economic infrastructure with Quango this and Agency that.
Anyone watching that interview will see the absolute vacuousness of Burnham's ideas, and just how economically clueless he really is. One wonders if the Marxist brothers are any better.
