I love a White Christmas as much as anyone else but it never fails to amaze me how a few inches of snow brings the UK to a juddering halt. I work for an American Company and they have far deeper snow than this, take it in their stride, fit the appropriate tyres to their cars in the Autumn(Fall) and have snow ploughs and other such equipment to deal with it. Life goes on over there, snow or no!
Whatever the reason for Climate Change it is obviously happening and I assume the Warming is occuring elsewhere on the planet and our cold here in the UK is to balance the equation?
In any event we must get our arses into gear on this as this seems to be the way things are going. It is no use the so-called experts and politicians burying their heads in the snow and saying, "It only happens a few times so we won't invest in the equipment to deal with this".

Hammond has been a star. Unflustered, sensible, totally in command. A great display.

after all disadvantage. Game in third quarter end phase, the lakers leading superiority already exceeded 20 points, that makes the game early into the garbage time.

Someone reported the sign to Starbucks after walking into Boulders Coffee Lounge, thinking it was part of the Seattle-based chain.
