Hat's off to the young lady for this! Silent Night is one of the most beautiful and evocative Christmas Carols made all the more haunting by the fact that it was sung in both sets of Trenches at Christmas 1914 in WWI. I often wonder just how many of those singers survived to see Christmas 1918 and perhaps sing this same carol in their local churches?

Good ! She has a good voice and was introduced to this role by Dame Vera Lynn. It is a real credit to her.

Some women are so beautiful that even a cynical agnostic like me begins to believe in divine providence. Maria Sharapova, the lovely Katherine and, many years ago, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn.
[Apologies to the thousands I have omitted].
And a Merry and Peaceful Christmas to you all.
