A reasonable response from the security council however it should have insisted on a fully independent inquiry in this whole mess.

"fully independent inquiry" where Israel and The Palestinians are concerned this seems to be an oxymoron.

Down with Israeli piracy and terrorism!

Absolutely disgusting.
The Obama administration has shown itself to have no moral courage and our pathetic coalition has meekly fallen in line.

For the avoidance of doubt, what is so offensive is the manner in which Israel is held to a higher standard than other nations (including the UK and U.S.) by the international community.

Disappointed with America, it seemed President Obama would stand more firm with The State of Israel, but the way they demanded the condemnation should be watered down is weakness on their part seemingly afraid to stand up to Israel.
The time must be close with all the many episodes of Israel taking the rule of law into their own hands that the International Community must now stand together and be firm with them!

A despicable betrayal of Israel.

Has the Security Council unanimously condemned North Korea yet for the flagrant breach of international law in the sinking of the South Korean warship with the loss of 46 lives? Have protesters in the West been on the streets protesting in their thousands against North Korea? Odd the double standards we seem to operate under.

Typical response from the Security Council - we have little or no response from them for the many, many violations of nations such as North Korea yet any opportunity to condemn Israel is seized upon. We expect nothing less from them - the United Nothing!
